Dr. Luigi Canullo maintains a private practice in surgical and prosthetic implant rehabilitation in Rome, Italy.

His clinical and research work centers on the surgical and prosthetic aspects of implant dentistry, including implant surface characteristics and peri-implant soft tissue management.

He graduated cum laude in Dentistry from the University of Rome La Sapienza in 1994 and holds a PhD from the University of Bonn, Germany. He has authored more than 100 publications in international journals, is a recipient of the William R. Laney Award from the Academy of Osseointegration, and lectures as part of the faculty at Unicamillus University in Rome.

At Dental Leaders Academy, he teaches evidence-based approaches to implant surgery and prosthetic rehabilitation.
