Dr. Vanessa Ruiz Magaz graduated from the University of Barcelona
(UB), Spain, and received her doctorate (PhD) at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC).

She is a board certified specialist in periodontology by the Spanich Society of Periodontology and Osseointegration (SEPA) and Master in
Periodontics and Implant Dentistry from UIC, Spain.

Dr. Ruiz Magaz made a series of stays in Periodontics departments of
prestigious universities in the specialty, such as: U. Louisville (Kentucky; USA), U. Tufts (Massachusetts, USA), and U. Bern (Switzerland, Europe).

Her current positions include Associate Professorships at UIC
(Periodontal Department, EFP Acredited) and Visiting Professor at Padova University (Italy).

Besides, she is a member of the Ethical Committee at UIC a reviewer of the SEPA journal. She is a regular speaker in national and international scientific meetings, and lecturer in several universities in Europe and US.

She has published various articles and book chapters. Her expertise and scientific interests are focused on periodontal regeneration, peri-implantitis and the application and research on laser technologies.

Dr. Alvise Cenzi graduated in Dentistry in Verona, Italy. Since then, his practice has been focused in prosthodontics and implant dentistry.

In September 2007 he joined the Advanced Program in Periodontics at NYU. Then he proceeded with the Advanced Program in Prosthodontics, also at NYU.

After completing his studies for 3 years in USA he returned to Italy and since then he is working at his private practice limited to Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry.

He is also Adjunct Professor at the University of Padova where he teaches at the Master in Implant Dentistry and he is responsible for the prosthetic rehabilitations over implants.

He’s Socio Attivo of Italian Academy of Osseointegration. He’s lecturing about implant dentistry and proshtodontics in national and international dental meetings.
